What types of screensavers can I create?

Screensaver Producer lets you build three kinds of screensavers:

Which versions of Windows are supported?

Created screensavers run on Windows 7 through Windows 11 (both 32- and 64-bit editions). The authoring tool itself is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10/11 and supports all screen resolutions and color depths.

Does it have an integrated editor and tools?

Yes. You work in an intuitive, ribbon-based interface with drag-and-drop support. A dockable media librarian organizes your sprites, images and videos. A built-in file browser with thumbnail previews lets you browse your file system without leaving the app.

Can I compile installers and trial versions?

Absolutely. Compile your screensavers into SCR files or standalone EXE installers complete with your own logo, icons, license agreement and About dialog. You can also create limited or time-restricted trial versions and generate unlock codes to upgrade them to the full version.

Can I add music or RSS feeds?

Yes. Photo slideshow screensavers support background music or narration. You can also include an RSS ticker to display your latest news or blog headlines directly in the screensaver.

Does it support multiple languages?

The installer and screensaver dialogs are available in eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese and Italian. Your end-users can choose their preferred language during installation.

Is there a free trial?

A fully functional 30-day trial of Screensaver Producer is available for download. After the trial period ends, saving and compilation features are disabled until you enter a valid license key. You can continue to run the app in read-only mode to view existing projects.

Can I distribute screensavers royalty-free?

Yes. With a valid license you may compile screensavers and distribute them royalty-free for personal or commercial use. You are free to sell or share your screensavers without paying additional fees to Axialis.

What are the system requirements?

Screensaver Producer runs on Windows 2000 or later (XP/Vista/7/8/10/11) and requires about 50 MB of free disk space. Created screensavers run on Windows 7 through Windows 11 with no additional dependencies.

Can I get support if I have issues?

Yes. Technical support is included with your license. If you have any question or encounter an issue, please visit our support page to get in touch with the Axialis team.
